In many cases, the tuition due date is being pushed back due to COVID, so there will be more time for you to get 100% of your tuition back if you act quickly.
In other cases, tuition is usually prorated by the number of classes or days since the first day of instruction.
You will need to contact your college for the full details of their tuition refund policy.
Yes! Now that you're already planning on taking courses online, it's time to think about other options!
Many other schools have been planning on going online for several weeks at this point, and have better online tailored curriculums.
Absolutely! You can mix and match with courses at your current college and courses at other colleges.
If we have it, we use direct course cost data if we have it from the college.
If we do not, we estimate it using in-state and out-of-state tuition data from the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS) of the U.S. Department of Education.
When you submit your COVID Course Plan, we will get in contact with your college for you.
We know this is a very stressful time for students, and we want to make this process as quick and painless as possible for you guys.
If tuition withdrawal deadline has not fully passed or if the start date of your classes have yet to begin, then you still have plenty of time to potentially find cheaper courses!
A COVID Course Plan is a set of personalized courses for you to take at a less expensive school while still allowing you to get your original credit at your current school.
Once you select all the courses you want, you can use our tool to submit your plan to your current school.
And that's it from your end! We will be in direct contact with the school and when your school makes a decision, we will contact you with the results!
COVID Course Plans are for anyone to use.
Current and Prospective Students: Use it to make more informed decisions on what to take next semester. And most importantly, to save money!
Parents and Advisors: Use it to let your children/students know that there are alternative courses to take that can save them money. You can submit a plan for in place of them as well!
Anyone else: Use it to see how college students can potentially save thousands of dollars! Feel free to spread the word! :)
COVID Course Plans are exclusively built for students in undergrad.
A typical student will lose most of their credits when they transfer schools. Because the courses were already taken, it is up to the schools to decide if they will give credit for that course
With pre-approving courses before they are taken, you can guarantee that the course you take will get you the credit you deserve.
With this pre-approval, you can make sure you don't waste your time, money, and effort taking your original course.
Once your plan or your courses are pre-approved, you will be all set to go register for those classes with full confidence these credits will transfer.
We put our COVID Course Plans together over the last two months and have tried to find every single school that we can. If you still don’t see your college listed, send us an email at [email protected] as soon as you possibly can.
If you ever have any questions about the process or any concerns you may have, please email us at [email protected] and we'll do our best to help you in any way we can!
